I sure loves me some sun jars!  They incorporate several of my favorite things to mess around with:  LEDs, Solar panels, hot glue, man it’s all there and they look great to boot!

You have most likely heard of a potato battery, a lemon battery, an earth battery. Well here we present a plant battery powered LED light.

Several years ago I purchased a couple of Mini Wind Turbines from online. They were basically nothing more then a DC  motor with some plastic blades attached. As simple as it was this tiny wind turbine would easily charge a AA battery or two in any kind of wind.

I recently decided that I was going to use one of the old bases that was used for a CFL, to now make a some of my small leds work with 12 volts.
